Is there a computer program that has a online calender function for scheduling a upcoming conference?
I have a conference that i need others to schedule meeting times with me. i would like a online calender that i can send them the url to and have them be able to just click on available times. Unavailable time would show that they are selected but not by who. and i would automatically be updated on the schedule of my meetings. Thank you for any assistance on this.

MS Outlook – it has a calendar feature and can be collaborated with other’s calendars.

Is there a way to get a darker Web-color than the hex-code of 000000 on a standard Microsoft computer-program?
Details as to how this could be done would be very much appreciated, if it is at all possible. Thanks in advance for those who offer assistance & advice.

Free PC Help staff answers:
No. By definition that would be pure black with absolutely no red, green or blue components to it. If it does not display as pure black, then the cause is most likely a monitor with a poor contrast ratio.

Can you use calculators if you go into a computer programming field?
What kind of math must you learn for computer programming? Can you use assistance?

Free PC Help staff answers:
Sure, calculators are fine. The TI-83 model and up are very popular.
As for math, most CS degrees require formal logic, algebra, trig and advanced calculus and physics.

What is a good program for remote assistance. I have Windows 2000Profressional and my mom has Vista?
I need to access her computer to assist her with using the internet.

Free PC Help staff answers:
Bosco’s Screen Share is an excellent, free, and easy to use program for remote computer access (and screen sharing).
It can be used to show her what is on your screen or to take over control of her computer as well.
I’ve used it going from an XP to a Vista machine and it worked great. It should do just as well on a Windows 2000 to Vista setup.

How do i shut down the Broward county library computer reservation system?
Hey, the names Rick, Age 14. The Nerd on the block. And i need your help. I’m at a library, (my parents can’t afford a computer.) and I’m always busy downloading 1-3GB , program language compilers, (for creating programs). And I usually have 60-65minute time limit on the computer. and unless someone puts a reservation on the computer i have as much time as i want. But when I have 3 minutes left. I freak out and asked to get my time extended from the staff. They said they are not allowed, unless its important, i told them im downloading a Huge 3GB Language compiler for computer programming. and im making repair on someone elses computer through Remote Assistance. They say no. When times runs out, my computer gets reserved and i have to spend 6 hours downloading it again. Thats the most annoying thing about library computer, a reservation. I tried everything to shut off the timer, but staff removes me from computer and i am detected offline. How do i shut down the reservation system?

Free PC Help staff answers:
If you screw with the library’s system, you could find yourself permanently banned from their computers, or facing criminal charges for vandalizing public property. Then your time limit will be zero instead of the 60 minutes you have now. It sounds like they’re already suspicious of you, so any monkey business you attempt WILL be detected. Don’t go there!
You need to go somewhere else to do your downloads, if they’re going to consistently take longer than 60 minutes. Then you need to start charging for repairs so you can save up to get a computer at home.
