computer assistance?
computer on boot up only goes as far as typical windows XP progress bar and no further. computer operates fine in safe mode with networking. wanting to operate in normal mode.have attempted to repair computer with windows disc. when asked to continue to repair computer comes back with “can’t find harddirve”. how can i continue past this point?

Well…. First off in safe mode try to roll back the PC
You havent given me much info ( like what started this problem etc) but usualy this happens when a driver is updated or other similar things
If the Pc wont rollback, try testing a different HDD in the Pc, and if that still fails you may have a bigger problem
As i said, i dont have much info, but id guess it’s a software related issue

Computer Assistance?
I accidently sent a photo I wanted to the recycling bin. I clicked on the bin to open it to recover the photo but I ended up clicking on empty instead of open. I desperately need this picture and it was the only copy I had of it. Is there anyway I can still recover it from my computer?

There are plenty of undelete utilities that you can use that can recover recently deleted files. After emptying the Recycle Bin Windows doesn’t actually writes over the files, instead the space on the drive is flagged as available to be written on. If you haven’t saved any other files on the drive then the chances of recovering the pictures are pretty good. I would try TuneUp Utilities that has a built in undelete that uses a menu item when right clicking on the Recycle Bin. TuneUp utilities isn’t free but you can get a 30 day fully functioning demo at www.tune-up.com

how can a 13 year old start a small virus removal and computer assistance business?
i want to make some extra money. So i decided why not try computer assistance and virus removal because i am good with computers.i plan to set up computers, remove viruses, tune up computers ect. I don’t know where to start. I need help making a good advetisement that protrays that i am good with computers. My only worry is that pleople may not take me serouse because i am young. Please help me.

They won’t know how old you are till they see you. You could make flyers and post them around town. Also have family and friends recommend you. What you said before: set up computers, remove viruses, tune ups, etc. Is what you can put on flyers You are never too young to start a business. Go for it!

I am looking for a movie in which the whole house was protected and controlled by Computer and and assistance was created in it which was doing every work, like opening and closing of doors, changing the colors of walls according to mood. even the man was fallen in love with that computer created assistance and in last it become uncontroled to stop that Computer Assistance.

Computer assistance with linknig two computers to the same internet connection?
We are trying to connect two computers with the same internet connection but it is not working. We have tried with a youtube tutorial and help from our mom’s friend. Does anyone know how to help us? We have a compaq computer desktop (not sure of the year) and a 2002 desktop computer. If anyone knows how to help please help. Thanks!

IF you have internet from a cable company you already have a “router” you can just use a Cat5 (internet) cable and plug in…IF you only have one internet connector on your router get this..http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127083.
You simply plug your internet cable from the router to this, then get two cables and put them to this and the two computers. You will have two slots extra for expansion…OR..if you have a “network” printer, you could connect it to the switch so both computers can use the one printer.
